Face Forward Kentuckiana!
Face Forward Kentuckiana is a support group for families affected by cleft lip, cleft palate, and other problems related to craniofacial development. We serve Louisville, Kentucky and the Indiana and Kentucky counties that surround Louisville.
When children are born with problems in the structure of their heads and faces (called craniofacial anomalies or CFAs), there are many challenges facing both the parents and children. Problems related to eating, talking, breathing, socializing, and coping with other health problems related to CFAs can make the most courageous parents question their abilities.
But you don’t have to do it alone!

We came together and discovered that much has already been learned by others and they are willing to share! That’s how Face Forward, Kentuckiana, Inc. was founded. Come and benefit from the information, support, and encouragement of our network of parents and professionals.
WE OFFER:
- Emotional support for parents of newborn children with clefts and/or other CFAs
- One-to-one matching with families who have similar needs and experiences
- Current information on feeding alternatives, treatment choices, and area specialists
- Social and emotional support for children, teens, and adults with CFAs
- Social activities
- Bi-monthly meetings to discuss current issues of interest to the group
Our goals:
To assist families and individuals with cleft lip, cleft palate, or any craniofacial anomaly.
That children, individuals, and families will feel connected and in control as they face forward a future filled with hope.
